  • Senior, Apprentice and Junior $1,400.00
  • Mini Company $1,200.00

Company Fees will be collected in 10 payments of $140.00 (Sr, Apprentice, and Jr) or $120.00 for Mini Company.
Payment schedule is 10 payments

Fees include: Rehearsals
Company Fees do NOT include the required company uniform. Company Fees often include costumes, but additional costume fees may be required.

TADA Youth Company Uniform

  • All Company members are required to have their base TADA Uniform for their weekly ballet technique classes.
  • For performances and masterclasses, Company members must have: TADA shirt, solid black or TADA sweatpants, TADA Youth Company Jacket, and a skin tone leotard. Warmups can be purchased at the studio.

Parent Volunteer Requirement

Participation in TADA’s Youth Company is a family commitment. To support the success of our productions and programming, each company family is required to complete a minimum of twenty (20) volunteer hours during the season. Volunteer opportunities may include performances, backstage support, costumes, fundraising, set and prop construction, studio events, and administrative assistance. Families who are unable to fulfill the volunteer requirement may choose to opt into a seasonal buyout donation in lieu of service hours ($500). Volunteer hours will be tracked throughout the season and must be scheduled 4 weeks prior to the Dec and Spring shows. Families who have not fulfilled either the volunteer requirement or buyout obligation by the deadline will be considered not in good standing with the company. As a result, their dancer may become ineligible to participate in performances, competitions, or company events until the requirement has been satisfied. Because productions and performances rely heavily on parent support, volunteer participation is considered an essential component of company membership.

Attendance Policy

All weekly technique classes, youth company classes, and rehearsals are mandatory. If for some reason, you cannot make a class or rehearsal, you must notify the Studio Manager as soon as possible via: studiomanager@tadaatlanta.com. The Director and Rehearsal Director will decide whether the absence is excused or unexcused. If a student has more than 3 unexcused absences, a meeting will be held with the dancer, parent, and Director. If you have ANY unexcused absence, you may be taken out of a show and your role given to the understudy. If you miss rehearsals, you may not be included in certain sections or entire performance pieces. There will be no refunds if a dancer is taken out of a show. We understand that illness, injury, mandatory school functions and unforeseen circumstances happen and result in absences. Absences should be communicated to the office via e-mail informing the child’s name and reason for the absence. If a dancer has an injury or sickness that is not of risk to themselves or other dancers, they are expected to attend class to WATCH the lesson. By observing class, they stay familiar with what is being taught and are ready to participate when they return without falling behind. Refunds will not be given for lessons missed for any reason of your own accord (i.e., illness, family vacation, short term injury, etc.)

If you have questions, please email: studiomanager@tadaatlanta.com. We’re excited!

Kara Jacobson, Artistic Director

TADA’s Attendance Policy

It is important that your dancer does not miss class, rehearsal, or youth company – especially as we begin choreography for shows. If your dancer has excessive absences or unexcused absences leading up to a dance performance they may not be able to perform, and the performance fee will not be refunded.

If your dancer will miss class, rehearsal, or youth company, you MUST text 678-562-6162 and email tadastudiocoordinator@tadaatlanta.com

  • Any class or rehearsal missed without notifying TADA is considered an unexcused absence.
  • When a dancer misses it not only affects their progress, but it also affects the larger group as a whole. If your dancer is absent:
    • Your dancer won’t know the choreography and we can’t take time from class each week to “back track” and teach them choreography that was missed.
    • All choreography happens in the studios and TADA does not routinely send videos home for dancers to practice.
    • When your dancer is absent it also affects the other dancers in the class. That is, it makes it very hard for other dancers to know where their spaces are (e.g., think about lines, formations, and spatial relationships).
  • We want to ensure that all dancers are prepared for the performance and that we respect the hard work of the teachers/choreographers and other dancers.
  • Consistent attendance ensures the success of the entire team and allows us to present our best work on stage

For Dancers - Attendance Expectations

  1. Rehearsals/Classes: Dancers are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals and classes unless they are ill or have an unavoidable emergency.
  2. Tardiness: Arriving late disrupts the flow of rehearsals. Dancers should arrive on time, ready to dance.
  3. Absences: All absences must be communicated to the studio at least 48 hours in advance (except in emergencies). TADA will provide approval and confirmation if the absence is excused.

Consequences for Missing Rehearsals

  • 1st Unexcused Absence: The dancer will receive a verbal warning and a reminder of this policy.
  • 2nd Unexcused Absence: The dancer’s participation in the upcoming performance may be reviewed, and their role could be minimized or reassigned.
  • 3rd Unexcused Absence: a meeting will be held with the Director and Rehearsal Director

Emergency Exceptions

We understand that emergencies and illnesses happen. In these cases, please notify the studio as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in making sure our performances reflect the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. If you have any questions about this policy, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
